Betta fighter fish are extremely colorful , attractive and common aquarium fish.They are extremely aggressive in nature when they are 2 or more in the same tank.They fight with each other till one of them die.To breed fighter fishes it is important to have knowledge of distinguish them.
This is quite easy to distinguish between male and female Betta fighter fishes.The comparison is made on the basis of their color , their fin size, aggression level. It is observed that females are small in size , less colorful ,have small fins as compared to male ones. Even they cost less as compared to males.Some times females have small white dots on their stomachs directly behind their ventral or shorter stomach fins.Above one is male and below one is female.
